GIRLS SELECTS UPDATE 12/1/2023

There is one week left to register for the Alaska Girls Selects Camp December 15-17. Spots are limited at each position in each birth year and late registrations are not guaranteed to receive a spot. Registration is $125. To register, please go HERE. 

Our evaluators for this year's camp are coaches from both NCAA DI and DIII programs and USA Hockey. We're looking forward to welcoming them to Alaska and showing off our talent to them.

The reservation period for the hotel block at The Aloft has expired, so there is no longer a discounted room block available for those needing a hotel.

If your player is unable to attend camp due to being out of state or injured and you wish to still be considered in the selection process, you will be required to register your player and submit a complete absence or injury waiver by 12/8/23. UPDATE AS OF 10/31/2023

Our 2023 Girls Selects Camp is set for December 16-17 at UAA (Anchorage, AK) for girls with birth years of 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007. Registration opens November 1 and will be open through December 8. Submissions after the deadline are not guaranteed to be accepted. Registration is $125/player and can be found HERE.

We will be welcoming evaluators from both USA Hockey and NCAA women's hockey programs from across the country this year. These evaluators will select the players from Alaska moving onto the next camp (2010 Multi-District Camp, Las Vegas, NV June 28-30 or '09/'08/'07 Pacific District Player Development Camps, Las Vegas, NVMay 2-5)

This year, there will be a few new additions to our state camp:

1. Early check-in will be encouraged and available Friday evening.

2. A pre-camp meeting will be held following early check-in on Friday evening. This will feature information on how the camp will run through the weekend and provide a "pathways conversation" about the significance of the camp and the trajectory of players moving to the next stage of USA Hockey's Player Development Program. There will be a virtual option available for this presentation.

3. We've secured a discounted hotel room block at Aloft Hotel (located in midtown) for players and families traveling from out of town to attend camp. This block provides rooms at $139+ tax/night for rooms reserved for December 15-17. This block is limited and available to book from 11/1/23-11/24/23 on a FCFS basis. LINK (Once you click on the link, make sure to put in dates of December 15-17 before clicking "check availability" or it will show no rooms are available.)
